Not to be out done by Graham Rahal, Tony Kanaan’s dallara will also have a diffrent flavor to it this weekend. 7-11 won’t be on the sidepods of the #11 dallara this weekend, as it will be replaced by Franks Energy Drink for saturdays Rexall Edmonton 300.
Newman/Haas/Lanigan driver, and huge hockey fan, Graham Rahal will have new primary sponsors on the sidepod of his dallara for this weekends up coming race in Edmonton. Rexall a pharamcy giant, already the sponor of the race, will also be the primary on Rahals D/H/F. As a co-sponor, the Edmonton Oilers have also jumped on board and will have there logo on the car, of the youngest winner in Indycar Series history. After a horrific pit incident this past weekend during the Mid-Ohio ALMS race, De Ferran Motorsports Fueler, Keith Jones, was hospitalized after Simon Pagenaud pulled out of his pit box while the fuel hose was still attached. First being clipped by the rear wing, Jones hit the ground as the the fuel flooded pit lane and immediately ignited. The inferno was quickly extinguished and Jones was air lifted to Ohio State University Medical Center in critical condition. Jones has since been transfered to the Indianapolis Burn Center and upgraded from critical to series condition.
