You’ve Got Mail

As reported by Curt Cavin, Vitor Meira apparently first heard that his contract would not be renewed by an E-mail sent to him on Monday by Panther Racing officials.  Vitor didn’t have much to say on the news other than, “Put two and two together” 

Wow, what a way to go out.  I have just lost a lot of respect for John Barnes who treated Vitor like crap.  After 3 years of good racing with, 28 top ten finishes, 11 top fives, a second in the Greatest Spectacle in Racing and bringing the car home without incident 71% of the time, Vitor was let go with very little respect.
